Gift Certificates

The University Card Office offers Hoot Loot gift certificates, which make the perfect gift for anyone at SCSU. Gift certificates can be purchased by anyone (mom, dad, grandma, friends, professors) and make the perfect birthday gift, high school graduation gift or contest prize.

Types of Gift Certificates

• Fitness Center Gift Certificates are available to cover the cost of your student's campus Fitness Center membership. Visit the Fitness Center web site for full details.
• Individual Gift Certificates can be personalized with the recipient's name and a special message from the gift giver. Once you purchase the certificate, the funds will be available on the recipient's Hoot Loot account and you can use the certificate to inform the gift recipient. (This certificate has no actual value, the funds are pre-deposited into the recipient's account).

We'd be happy to mail your gift certificate, at no cost to you, to you or directly to the gift recipient.

Please note that gift certificates are NOT redeemable for cash and can only be applied to a SCSU Hoot Loot account.

Purchasing a Gift Certificate

Gift certificates may be purchased in person or over the phone from the University Card Office. You can purchase a gift certificate with credit card by calling 203-392-7077.
